The last couple of weeks God has been doing a lot in my life. The last couple of days God has been working in my heart about going soul winning on more days than just saturday, (The college requires me to go every Saturday). Yesterday during the morning chapel message God made it clear that it was the day that I was to go out soulwinning. After my final class for the day I spent some time in prayer and God directed my mind to the park out behind the college so out I went.

I walked through the path on the park and as I went I came across several people that I was able to hand tracks to, but sadly, none of them were interested in talking very long. I walked all throughout the park and could not find someone who was interested in allowing me to share the gospel to them. I sat down, and I prayed. I knew that God had called me to the park that afternoon, and if it was only to pass out a couple of tracts then so be it, but I beleived that God had more in mind.

So as I prayed I began to read my Bible. I read the parable of the sower and as I began to think on it I looked up and there, across the park green there was a teenage boy walking across the field to his car. It was in that moment that God made it clear that that boy was the person I was to talk to. I got up and, in fear of him getting in his car and driving away, I ran towards the young man and asked him if he was going to heaven when he died.

By God's grace I was able to go through the whole gospel with him, as it turns out this young man had never heard the gospel before. When I was done sharing the gospel I could see it in his face that he knew he was on his way to hell. I asked the question that I was scared to ask, but, that God wanted me to ask. I asked him if he wanted to be saved. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal saviour right there next to his car! God is soo good!

Please pray for this man as I give him a Bible and help point him towards church. Please pray that he will yeild himself completely to God and give his life to God's will, whatever that may be!

And as a challenge to all Christians, may we always obey the prompting of the Holy Spirit, even if it doesn't make sense, even if it doesn't look right, or even if it isn't something that you want to do.

How foolish am I to ignore the prompting of the Holy Spirit and not go averywhere the Holy Spirit leads, and not say everything that the Holy Spirit wants me to.

Oh what an impact Christians would have in this world if we truly surrendered ourselves completely to God's will!
